Tami Balog

Tami Balog started Body Kinect to create a community of experienced practitioners that want to share their passion and knowledge of wellness with the community. She works as a therapeutic massage therapist as well as teaches yoga and workshops.

Tami graduated in 1989 with a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. She worked in a variety of settings and continues to maintain her license and go to continuing ed classes. In 1991 Tami decided to return to school for massage and became a licensed Massage and Body Work therapist where she specializes in therapeutic massage. In 2001, Tami attended yoga teacher training certification at Yogaworks in Santa Monica, California. She assisted many instructors, spent most of her time in therapeutic and Anusara-style classes, and then continued Anusara study at the Center for Yoga in Los Angeles.

Tami finds balancing the body and mind, connecting with breath and laughter facilitates positive change. She feels passionate about doing bodywork on her clients and opening up space in the body then following with movement to make lasting changes within your body. She works and teaches eclectically and draws from her work as a physical therapy assistant and massage therapist. Tami teaches yoga, Pilates and workshops. She also offers the Unwind and Restore session.

Michelle Pond

Michelle offers massage and reflexology at our wellness center. Her desire for health in wellness at a young age inspired her to attend and graduate from Advanced Fuller’s School of Massage in 2006. She deeply believes in the power of touch and her approach is to deliver a service that calms the mind, spirit, and refreshes.

Reflexology is not only a wonderful technique to help sore feet but also assists in the total health of the body. It helps the body by pressure points in the feet which correlates to different areas of the body. It can balance energy flow throughout the body and alleviate ailments through foot reflexology. Reflexology is a wonderful service to treat yourself as a whole and wellness journey here at Body Kinect.

Michelle is known for her kind touch, great neck head and shoulder massage, and relaxing reflexology.

Rebecca Shirley

With nearly 15 years of clinical experience, Rebecca offers a targeted, therapeutic approach to help you move better and heal faster using her skills in myofascial release, deep tissue massage, Thai massage, and cupping and vibrational massage. She utilizes evidence-informed techniques tailored to your specific goals, tension patterns and stage of recovery.

Terri Balog

With nearly 40 years of experience, Terri offers gentle, evidence-informed care for those with complex health needs. Specializing in oncology massage, lymphatic drainage, and lymphatic facial massage, she supports healing, comfort, and balance at every stage of wellness.

Terri is also the founder of Little Gypsy Oils, an Ayervedic-inspired line of Natural face and body oils.

Amanda Verdin

Amanda is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Reiki Facilitator, and Breathwork Teacher. She helps clients, children to seniors, reconnect with their bodies and restore balance through mindfulness, breath, and energy work. Amanda’s client-centered approach blends evidence-based coaching with intuitive practices, empowering each person to tap into their own inner wisdom and create sustainable change.

Ryin Santana

Ryin completed her training at Yoga Nook in Chesapeake,Va in 2019. She continues to further her education with continuing education and is certified in Yin Yoga. She is passionate about sharing the importance of movement and mindfulness as we age. Her classes offer a welcoming space to build strength, find balance and stay connected to body and breath. Ryin also leads Body Kinect in our craft workshops.
